Hebrews 12

Focus

Hebrews 12

We can have confidence in our relationship with God.  Satan loves to put us through the wringer to shake our faith.  And when we sin, he wants to make you think that you have strayed beyond the bounds of His love and forgiveness, so that you’ll be too ashamed to return to Him.  Jesus prayed for Peter.  He cares about you too and will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able to bear.  Peter had a way out, but chose to sin.  What are you going to do?  Focus on this truth or learn the hard way…

Read over these Bible verses Monday through Friday.  You can read as many of the verses as you would like to each day.  The questions that follow will guide you through as you as God to show you His plan for your life.  Any questions?   Just message us on Facebook. Finish up your week with the video we will post each Friday. We’ve got your whole week covered!

Luke 22:31-32
    I Cor 10:12-13    James 1:13-15     Psalms 86

Thoughts for the week…

1. Temptation.  Are you able to identify clearly where you are being tempted?

2. Habits.  What habits need to go, what habits need to grow?

3. Relationship.  Psalm 86:  Do you talk to Jesus like this?

Bonus:  Make one goal for your self this school year.  You can share it below or share it with us on Facebook!

  1. My goal this semester is to share my testimony with my college and to tell them that there is a God. My school is a Christian school and not because it is a Christian school means that everyone is saved and I learnt that the hard way. I want to make it very clear that life has temptations and struggles that we all have to face. Luke 22:31-32 states 31And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: 32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. Satan will try to tug you by a toe “he sifts you” remember toe hold wants he gets that toe he grabs the foot “remember foothold” then he takes you over completely “stronghold” don’t let satan sift you like wheat. But let God mold you into dough. Get it? Satan has 3 goals don’t forget to steal, kill and destroy but Jesus said he has come for you to have life to the full.

    1. Well Said CBLova. My goal is to keep strong in my faith and consistently make time to do devotionals and spend time with God.
